This promotion is operated by Learn with Jason LLC, an Oregon limited liability company (“LWJ”), and this promotion will be accessible for a limited amount of time, ending on December 16, 2024 at 11:59 pm Pacific time (the "Submission Deadline"). This promotion is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older in countries where such promotions are allowed. If you are not at least 18 years of age or older, you may not participate, and if you attempt to do so, we reserve the right to refuse your entry. 

You, the participant, may submit one free entry for this promotion by providing LWJ with your email address, and by building an original open-source application (the “App”) and submitting the App to LWJ by the Submission Deadline through a web form created by LWJ. LWJ will provide a software tool from one of LWJ’s approved sponsors, and you must use the sponsor’s tool to build your App. You must provide LWJ with a URL of your App so that LWJ can verify its accessibility and functionality. Any code you use to develop your App must be open sourced on GitHub, and you must provide LWJ with a link to the GitHub code as part of your submission. Your App must not contain any information that violates any third party’s intellectual property right or any other applicable laws. You are not required to make any purchases or provide any other forms of consideration in order to participate. LWJ claims no rights in the App you build.

By providing your email address and submitting your entry, you will be eligible to receive promotional items from LWJ and its sponsors. Within 2 weeks of the Submission Deadline, LWJ will notify devs who will receive promotional items by email at their provided email address. The recipients must respond within 2 weeks of being notified, and when responding the recipients must provide LWJ with their preferred shipping address in eligible shipping destinations. If no response is received, or the recipient's shipping address is in a location LWJ is unable to ship to, the recipient is no longer eligible to receive promotional items, and LWJ reserves the right to select a different recipient.

Receipt of promotional items is determined by the order of submissions. LWJ reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify this promotion, particularly if any problem prevents the promotion from being conducted as intended. By entering into this promotion, you agree to release and hold harmless LWJ from any claims associated with the promotion, and you further agree to indemnify LWJ from any third-party claims alleging that your App contains any information in violation of a third party’s intellectual property rights. LWJ is not responsible and cannot be held responsible for technical errors or other things that may prevent the promotion from being conducted as planned.

By submitting your email address to LWJ as part of this promotion, you agree and consent that you may be contacted by LWJ or one of LWJ’s successors or assigns to notify you if you are selected as a winner, send you updates about future LWJ promotions, and send you other LWJ news. You may opt out of any emails from LWJ by clicking the unsubscribe button at the bottom of any email received from LWJ. Additionally, LWJ will share your name and email address with the sponsor of this promotion. By submitting your name and email address to LWJ as part of this promotion, you agree and consent to allow LWJ to share your name and email address with the sponsor of this promotion. Once shared, LWJ will have no control over how the sponsor communicates with you or what the sponsor does with your name and email address; you must communicate directly with the sponsor to manage any communications with the sponsor.
